Hostname & SSL / TLS Configuration

Configure server hostname and install SSL certificates. Once SSL is installed, all traffic to the internal web console is strictly redirected to HTTPS.

🏷️

System Hostname

{{ hostname }}

Change the machine hostname used by system services, local network resolution, and VPN connection profiles.

Applies immediately to /etc/hostname, /etc/hosts, and internal system resolver.
Primary Host Address: {{ server_ip }}
🔒

Web Console SSL / TLS Status

{% if ssl_info.get('enabled') %} HTTPS ACTIVE {% else %} HTTP ONLY (INSECURE) {% endif %}

When SSL is active, the web portal runs on HTTPS (Port 443) and all HTTP traffic on Port 80 is automatically redirected to HTTPS.

Web Console Protocol: {% if ssl_info.get('enabled') %}HTTPS (Encrypted){% else %}HTTP (Unencrypted){% endif %}
HTTPS Port: 443
HTTP Port (Redirector): 80 → 301 Redirect to HTTPS
{% if ssl_info.get('installed') %}
Certificate Subject: {{ ssl_info.get('subject') }}
Issuer: {{ ssl_info.get('issuer') }}
Valid Until: {{ ssl_info.get('not_after') }}
{% endif %}
{% if ssl_info.get('enabled') %}
{% endif %}

Install SSL Certificate

Option 1: Upload Custom SSL Certificate

Install a trusted certificate from Let's Encrypt, DigiCert, or an internal corporate CA.

Option 2: Generate Self-Signed Certificate

Instantly creates a secure 2048-bit RSA certificate valid for 10 years matching the current server hostname ({{ hostname }}) and IP address.

Notice: A self-signed certificate provides 256-bit encryption for all internal traffic, but your web browser will show a one-time security warning until trusted.
